This training session is intended to familiarize you with and to help you get the most out of OneDrive for Business. In addition to an overview of the product, you will also be shown some common ways you can use OneDrive for Business to operate more effectively. There will also be an opportunity for you to share how you operate to look for different ways that OneDrive's features can be applied to your specific circumstances.

Note that Datastore and Cabinet are unaffected by this change, but after learning about OneDrive for Business you may decide to transition some of your work from Cabinet to OneDrive for Business.


Enrollment is limited to current staff and faculty.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to do the following:

  • List the benefits of OneDrive for Business over the previous campus cloud data storage solution, OwnCloud;
  • Use OneDrive for Business to collaborate effectively with colleagues using the Share and Microsoft Office Online tools;
  • Apply the features of OneDrive for Business to common and specific work tasks.
